"Debris" by Farbrausch
I love the "camera-work" in this animation (or 'demo' to be nerdy), when you download the actual file (only 177kbs!) and run it on your computer the graphics are amazing... that being said i dont play computer games - so this might actualy be quite standard...infact, yes, it probably is.... It has a slow start so u have to be patient...
I like this clip because its conveys almost the exact opposite of what you instinctavely think of as an explosion. Its slow, calm, beautiful, rhythmic and harmonious. The first explosions are completely non-violent, and when some destruction does occur, it can be overlooked because of the composition of the clip and the music backing it.
The idea behind this clip is that explosions dont have to be violent, they can be a thing of beauty
